Assurance & testing

Use evaluations, adversarial tests, and incident practice to examine how a system behaves.

Find evidence you can trust.

Assurance begins with a question and ends with a decision supported by evidence. It needs representative tests, clear criteria, an honest account of limitations, and a plan to revisit results when the system changes. A memorable demo or a polished report is only part of that work.

You do not need to read everything in order. Choose a question that resembles your work, follow the guide, and try the exercise with a fictional example or an authorized review of your own systems.

A SUGGESTED ROUTE

Build understanding, one step at a time.

  1. 01

    A useful evaluation answers a decision. ↗

Choose tests that tell you whether this system is suitable for this task, under conditions that matter.

  2. 02

Red teaming should change the design. ↗

A structured adversarial exercise finds weaknesses and produces evidence that teams can act on.

  3. 03

Prepare for an AI incident before the first escalation. ↗

Connect familiar response disciplines to models, prompts, retrieval systems, and autonomous actions.
