THE PRACTICAL TOOLKIT

Make the learning tangible.

Simple templates and a worked route from an AI use case to risks, controls, and evidence.

One example, several connected records.

Imagine a company introducing an assistant to answer internal policy questions. It can read an approved document collection but cannot change employee records. The business owner wants faster answers without bypassing access controls or presenting uncertain guidance as a final decision.

Start with an inventory entry. Describe a plausible risk, choose a control, define a test, and record the result. The templates below are deliberately small so you can see the relationship between the records. They are original educational worksheets, not official framework forms or a certification assessment.

Try the whole chain.

  1. Write the inventory entry without using the product name as the purpose.
  2. Describe a cross-user information-disclosure scenario.
  3. Choose retrieval-time authorization as a control and assign an owner.
  4. Test with synthetic documents and two identities that have different permissions.
  5. Record the result, remaining uncertainty, and release decision.

Use these examples as starting points. Adapt the fields to your organization, and keep the actual implementation evidence separate from what you plan to do.
