LEARNING PATH

AI foundations

Models, applications, agents, and the real decisions around them.

Understand the system.

If you are new to the subject, begin with the workflow rather than the vocabulary. Who uses the system? What information does it see? Can it take action? Those questions connect the technical components to the people and activities that matter.

You do not need to read everything in order. Choose a question that resembles your work, follow the guide, and try the exercise with a fictional example or an authorized review of your own systems.

A SUGGESTED ROUTE

Build understanding, one step at a time.

  1. 01

Before you govern AI, understand the system. ↗

A model is one component. The people, data, tools, and decisions around it determine much of the risk.

  2. 02

You cannot govern the AI you cannot see. ↗

Build an AI inventory people can maintain, including the features already hiding inside everyday software.

  3. 03

An impact assessment starts with people. ↗

Ask who could be affected, how the system changes a decision, and what would make its use unacceptable.
